A New Chapter for Bungalow Home Furnishings

Sometimes the right opportunity comes along at exactly the right time.When we began exploring the possibility of owning a business in Boise, we knew we wanted to find something that would allow us to build on our professional experience while staying rooted in the community we love. Through a local connection, we were introduced to the owner of Bungalow Home Furnishings -and quickly discovered that the opportunity was an unusually natural fit.Bungalow was looking for a husband-and-wife team to carry the business forward, ideally bringing together a background in finance and a background in interior design. With more than 20 years of experience in interior design, including work in Vancouver, British Columbia; San Francisco; New York; Wyoming; Lake Tahoe; and Idaho, I knew the design side of Bungalow was a space I could genuinely connect with.My husband brings more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, including a long career with a large banking institution. Together, our backgrounds offered a complementary combination of design expertise and business experience that felt perfectly suited to Bungalow.We first met with the owner in late October 2025, and from that first conversation, it felt like the right fit. After months of getting to know the business and one another, we officially became the new owners of Bungalow Home Furnishings in early April 2026.We feel incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to carry this beloved Boise business into its next chapter.
